For the first time ever, the St. Mary's County Democratic Central Committee has invested more than $30,000 directly into our Democratic candidates, more than DOUBLE what we originally budgeted for the 2026 election cycle.

And the momentum hasn't slowed down.

- Record-breaking fundraising driven by an incredible response to our Democratic candidates.

- A Salute to Steny Hoyer, a tremendous fundraising success that brought together supporters and community leaders from across Southern Maryland.

- Expanded grassroots outreach that has connected more residents with our candidates, campaigns and the Democratic Party.

What should St. Mary's County voters expect from the people entrusted to serve as judges? Honesty. Integrity. Accountability.

In June 2023, the Maryland Commission on Judicial Disabilities formally reprimanded incumbent Orphans' Court Judge Michael R. White after finding that he failed to cooperate with disciplinary authorities and filed financial disclosure statements containing inaccuracies. The Commission determined that his conduct violated Maryland's judicial conduct rules.

That is an official disciplinary finding, documented in the public record.

In 2022, The BayNet also reported apparent inconsistencies involving a federal Paycheck Protection Program loan application associated with White. Separate reporting confirmed that the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office had received a criminal complaint from Compass Marketing and referred it to the Maryland Office of the State Prosecutor.

Those reports raised additional questions, but a complaint or referral does not establish criminal wrongdoing. Related civil claims against White were subsequently dismissed with prejudice in 2025.

The Orphans' Court oversees matters involving estates and families navigating the loss of loved ones. Those responsibilities demand public trust and adherence to the highest ethical standards. Before casting your ballot, take the time to review the public record. Our community deserves informed voters and accountable public officials.

First day at the US Oyster Festival at the St Mary’s County Fairgrounds! A whole bunch of us candidates have tables and met voters all day and will be there again all day tomorrow. Come out and meet us! I’m giving out US Constitutions and raffling (for free) a large print of a heron. The weather will be better tomorrow. I promise!
