Engine 11 was cancelled shortly after dispatch, while Truck 1 continued in as the first due Truck. Upon Truck 1’s arrival, the crew reported to the basement with Thermal Imagers to check for heat indication, narrowing down the odor to dust burning off the appliance with nothing else found.

While Truck 1 was returning from the first call, Engine 11 was dispatched to Golden Beach for the reported kitchen fire. Truck 1’s crew switched to Engine 11 and responded, but was cancelled a few minutes later due to units on scene advising the kitchen was not on fire, but that some towels had caught fire, only holding the call with Engine 22, Engine 1002, and Engine Tanker 24.

Squad 1 and Chief 1 responded, arriving to find a 2 vehicle collision with one car off the roadway and one car on the shoulder. Ambulance 399 transported one patient and Ambulance 197 obtained one signed refusal form.

While members were participating in our weekly Monday Night Drill, Engine 11 was alerted to the area of Ledo Pizza in Leonardtown for the reported outside gas leak. Engine 11 responded with 6 personnel, arriving with PD to find a small propane cylinder that had been ran over.

This evening, Truck 1 and Engine 11 responded to the 45000 block of Mallard Court in Hollywood for the reported house on fire. Callers advised the fire started in the kitchen, and all occupants were reported out of the house.

First arriving units went on scene with a 2 story split-foyer home with fire showing from the Delta side and the garage, and started the WIT (Working Incident Taskforce).

Upon the arrival of Truck 1, the crew joined the RIT team and staged, and after the incident was under control they assisted with extensive overhaul and opening up the structure for Engine crews.

Engine 11 assumed the 3rd due Engine responsibilities and reported to the fill site, where they were assigned Water Supply Operations for the incident.

Units operated on scene for approximately 2 hours before returning to service.

GARAGE IS ALSO FULLY INVOLVED.
PROPANE TANKS EXPLODING
UPGRADING TO WORKING STRUCTURE FIRE FILLING THE ASSIGNMENT

*Engine 10 and Truck 1 en route with 8 personnel

*Engine 22 on scene with Camper and garage fully involved

Upon the arrival of Engine 10, the crew pulled an attack line off Engine 22 and assisted with fire attack. Truck 1 arrived and assisted with overhaul and opening up the camper and garage.

Units operated on scene for approximately an hour before returning to Lawrence Avenue.

Today, Squad 1 (4 personnel) provided a Fill-In to St Leonard Volunteer Fire Department while they attended a funeral for one of their members.

While filling in, Squad 1, along with Bay District Engine 31 and Prince Frederick Engine 22, ran a reported Gas Leak within St Leonard’s first due, resulting in an overheated sump pump battery.

We want to extend our gratitude to St Leonard for providing our crews with breakfast and lunch.
