**C PLATOON WORKING**

Today, members of Lewisburg Professional Firefighters and EMTs Local 4917, alongside William Cameron Engine Company, responded to a first-due residential structure fire in East Buffalo Township.

Upon arrival, crews encountered fire showing from Division 1, prompting a second alarm to be transmitted. Firefighters worked quickly and efficiently to bring the fire under control.

Breast Cancer shirts have arrived at William Cameron Engine Company. Shirts can be picked up during business hours at the fire station unless you have made other arrangements with a member.

Deputy Chief Aungst, Captains Funk, Meixel, and Andricak, Lieutenant Sanders, and Warrior Run Fire Department Chief Funk are currently at the Bensalem Township Fire Marshal’s Office completing the NFPA 1033 Fire Investigation Program.

Our officers are continuing to sharpen their skills and expand their knowledge in fire investigation, helping ensure we maintain a high level of professionalism and expertise when investigating incidents within our community.

Today’s training included live-fire scenarios in a burn cell and vehicle, allowing the officers to observe the fire from inception through extinguishment by the engine company. Following extinguishment, they conducted detailed scene photography, documentation, and fire investigation, putting their knowledge and investigative techniques into practice.

We are committed to continued education and professional development so our members are prepared to thoroughly investigate incidents and determine the origin and cause of fires within our community.

The William Cameron Engine Company will be hosting an open house on Tuesday October 6th from 6pm until 8pm. Come on out and visit us at 11 Buffalo Road, Lewisburg Pa, and meet the responders, tour the fire station and the museum. There will be fire truck rides, safety demonstrations and activities and light refreshments. We hope to see you all there!
