This event is designed to educate and assist individuals in recognizing and avoiding potential fraudulent activities. A big thank you to Buffalo Valley Regional PD and Giant for inviting us to join you for Coffee with a Cop! It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community!

Coffee with a Cop!

This morning, Chief Embeck, Detective Miller, and Co-Responder Hackenberg of the Buffalo Valley Regional Police Department had the pleasure of participating in a Coffee with a Cop event at Giant Food Store.

We would like to sincerely thank Giant Food Store for hosting us and helping provide an opportunity for members of our department to spend time with the community outside of our normal day-to-day duties.

Events like these are a great way for our officers to meet and talk with the people we serve, answer questions, hear concerns, and build positive relationships within our community. We truly enjoy getting out, having a cup of coffee, and getting to know the people in our community.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and took the time to visit with us this morning. We look forward to seeing everyone at our next community event!

We're excited to announce that Deputy Liam Church was sworn in on July 31, 2026, by Sheriff Scott W. Hahn. It was a proud moment, witnessed by fellow deputies and Chief Deputy Tim Bremigen.

Liam will be joining our team part-time while continuing his work at the Union County Jail, where he has been serving since March 2026.

Please join us in welcoming him to the team!
