On this episode of Church Cat ...

Church Cat would like to remind our wonderful community that when you head to the Edgewood Art and Craft Show at the fairgrounds this weekend, please consider taking a roll or more of paper towels. This will benefit the Lewisburg-Fairlea Food Locker for their recipients.
There is no entry fee....just the optional donation of paper towels. Church Cat appreciates all the folks who can donate to this worthy cause. Neighbors helping neighbors.❤️❤️

COME SEE US THIS WEEKEND!!!!

Saturday of Service is getting ready to set up a booth at the upcoming Edgewood Presbyterian Church Art/Craft Show in the WV Building at the State Fair Event Center. We’re aren’t doing a free meal giveaway at this event. Instead, we are there to listen, connect, and share how our ministry serves the community year-round.

If you want to learn more about what we do, discover how you can partner with us as a donor or volunteer, or purchase a ticket for our latest fundraiser, please stop by and say hello! We’ll be there Friday, October 9th through Sunday, October 11th. We would love to meet you, answer your questions, and share our vision.

In keeping with the spirit of service to others, Saturday of Service invites you to join us next weekend for the 44th Annual Art&Craft Show, “From our Hands to Your Home,” sponsored by Edgewood Presbyterian Church.

Instead of charging a cash admission fee, Edgewood is asking you to support our local community with an
optional admission donation of a roll of paper towels 🧻(or a multi-pack if you’re feeling extra generous)!! All collected paper towels will go directly to the Lewisburg-Fairlea Food Locker to help stock their shelves with much-needed essential household supplies.

Come out to support talented artisans, find unique treasures, and give back to neighbors in our community - all at the same time!! 😊

Amber Hinkle and Pam Harder from Saturday of Service (SOS) presented a very informative program to our members tonight on the work they (and a number of volunteers) do to provide food to those in need on the third Saturday of each month.

Lewisburg Lions Club meets the fourth Tuesday of each month (except Nov & Dec when we meet on the second Tuesday)@ 6:30pm at Lewisburg United Methodist Church. Message us for more information if you’d like to join us in the opportunity to serve our local community.

“It’s Fall, Y’all!”

At the 9/19/26 Saturday of Service at Edgewood Presbyterian Church in Lewisburg, we had the privilege of giving away 900 free “breakfast for lunch” meals along with free sweaters and light jackets. Thanks to dedicated volunteers and donors, so many folks left with hot meals and warm layers for the crisp autumn days ahead.

What an incredible day of community and blessing!
