The official copy of the Maine State Constitution will be on display in Ladd Library until Thursday, October 1st. The first official printing of the constitution since 1876, this edition includes the previously redacted sections 1, 2, and 5, of Article X. These sections were redacted in 1876, though remained in full effect. In 2023 Mainers voted to cancel the amendment redacting the sections, which are now included.

On Thursday, September 24th, at 4:15pm, Joseph Hall will give brief remarks in the lobby of Ladd Library about these changes and their significance to the Wabanaki.
