Lewiston High School Food & Nutrition 2 students got into the Halloween spirit by making their own homemade lollipops!

Students practiced using a candy thermometer and experimented with different flavoring oils to create colorful, delicious treats while building their culinary skills.

A rare opportunity to see the Idaho Liberty Bell in person is coming to Lewiston this Friday!

As part of a statewide tour visiting all 44 Idaho counties in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, Idaho’s historic, full-size replica of the Liberty Bell will be on display following a comprehensive restoration in South Carolina, where its wooden yoke, frame, and hardware were refurbished.

Come see this remarkable piece of history, take photos, and learn more about the Liberty Bell during its stop in Lewiston!

Mr. Slickpoo's Nez Perce Language classes from Lewiston High School visited the Nez Perce National Historical Park at Spalding, Idaho. Students were able to learn more about Nez Perce language, history, the Nez Perce seasonal round, and Nez Perce material culture. They also had the opportunity to watch a short video in the auditorium, a presentation by Park Rangers, visit the museum exhibits, and take a tour of the vault downstairs. This was an opportunity for students to engage with the culture by learning about traditional Nez Perce foods, root feasts, and the Wetxuwiitin Collection.
