Now Hiring: Experienced Tax Preparer — Liberty Tax, Reedsville
Liberty Tax in Reedsville is locally owned and nationally supported, and we're building our team for the 2027 tax season. We're looking for an experienced tax professional to be a cornerstone of the office — preparing and reviewing returns, taking on complex clients, and helping mentor seasonal staff.
What you'll do:
• Prepare and review individual tax returns (small business / Schedule C a plus)
• Handle complex situations: multi-state, rental property, farm income, credits and deductions
• Work directly with clients and explain results clearly.
• Help train and support seasonal preparers and interns.
What you bring:
• 2+ tax seasons of professional tax preparation experience (Enrolled Agent or CPA a strong plus)
• Current PTIN, or eligibility to obtain one (we'll walk you through it — about 15 minutes online)
• Accuracy, integrity, and a client-first manner
• Experience with professional tax software (any major platform)
What we offer:
• $18–$30/hr depending on experience and credentials
• Flexible scheduling January–April
• Year-round potential — we also offer bookkeeping and payroll services
