🔥 THURSDAY: THE OFFICIAL WEEKEND PREP DAY 🔥

We’ve got Uncertain, Texas — playing, the sun is out, the weekend forecast is looking downright disrespectfully gorgeous, and Lake Lewisville is basically standing there asking why you’re still making indoor plans. 😎🌊 But heads up: the water has officially slipped to 68°F, so while the air is serving summer leftovers, the lake has entered its COLD WATER ERA. Dress for the water, not the parking lot.

🚤 BOATERS: Gorgeous day to get the boat out. Light winds, sunshine, and plenty of lake. Please resist the ancient boating ritual of launching first and remembering the drain plug second.

🏄‍♀️ PADDLERS: THE WEEKEND IS STACKED. 🔥 Newbie paddles, twilight water, longer miles, sunsets and some absolutely gorgeous weather headed our way. 68°F water means PFDs ON and dress for immersion. Check the full lineup and grab your spot:

🎣 FISHERMEN: Conditions are gorgeous. The fish have no excuse. Unfortunately, neither do you when you come home with a gas-station sandwich and an elaborate story about “the one that broke off.” 🎣😂

Thursday is giving us one last little taste of warm sunshine while the lake quietly changes seasons underneath us. Go play outside, wear the PFD, respect the cold water, and start plotting your weekend because this one is WAY too pretty to waste. 🌊☀️🔥

🌊 WEDNESDAY HAS ABSOLUTELY NO BUSINESS BEING THIS GORGEOUS. After Mother Nature spent last week throwing patio furniture across North Texas, she apparently woke up, chose peace, and delivered us sunshine, barely-there wind, and an afternoon around 81°. Lake Lewisville is basically sitting there looking expensive today. 😎☀️ NWS has us sunny around 81° with light winds, and the water is holding at 69°.

🚤 BOATERS: This is your redemption arc. Light wind, sunshine, smooth water. Go burn some fuel without rearranging everyone’s internal organs.

🏄‍♀️ PADDLERS: GET. OUT. THERE. 💦 The schedule is STACKED this week, including our 2-mile Newbie Paddles on the Greenbelt Saturday AND Sunday! Beginner? Perfect. Haven’t paddled in forever? Perfect. Bringing your own board? Perfect. Need one of ours? Also perfect. 👏

🌮💀 TACO TUESDAY: DÍA DE LOS MU***OS EDITION 💀🌮

Lake Lewisville woke up wearing marigolds and choosing salsa. 🌼🔥 We’re climbing to 80° today, the lake is holding at 69°, and we’ve got a GREEN FLAG 🟢. Translation: the lake is open for business, the tacos demand respect, and somebody better bring guac. 🦋🌮

🚤 BOATERS: Calm-ish water + 80° = take the boat out before Texas remembers it’s supposed to be fall. Your cooler has been summoned. 💀🍹

🏄‍♀️ PADDLERS: 69° water means PFD ON, but today is serving prime fall paddling. 🌼🦋 This weekend: Twilight Paddles, our 2-mile Newbie Paddle, AND the new 10-MILER for those who look at two miles and say, “That’s adorable.” 🔥

🔥 RECOVERY MONDAY: because apparently we survived the weekend. Lake Lewisville is easing into the week with sunshine, calmer winds and temperatures climbing back up into the “cancel your responsibilities and go to the lake” category. 😎☀️ Water is holding around 70°F, the week is warming up, and Mother Nature appears to have returned our regularly scheduled Texas programming. 🌊

🚤 BOATERS: The lake is getting its groove back. Lighter winds + warmer afternoons = excellent conditions for sneaking in a weekday lake day before somebody remembers you have a job.

🏄‍♀️ PADDLERS: THIS is our weather. 🤌 Warm afternoons, cooler mornings and gorgeous fall water. Newbie Paddles are rolling again this weekend and we still have a few spots left! And circle FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30 because our Halloween Fireworks & Drone Paddle is coming. 🎆🎃✨ Paddle under the fireworks, watch the drone show from the water and make everybody standing on shore question their life choices.

🥶 SUNDAY FUNDAY: WHO TURNED OFF SUMMER?! DFW hit 47° this morning, which in North Texas is basically a federally recognized emergency. 😂 Hoodies have been deployed, flip-flops are confused and somebody probably turned on their fireplace. Meanwhile, Lake Lewisville is sitting at a practically tropical 71° with sunshine and low 70s ahead. 🍂☀️🌊

🚤 BOATERS: Your reward for surviving July has arrived. Cooler air, lighter traffic and no need to baste yourself in SPF 9000. Go enjoy the lake!

🛶 PADDLERS: THIS is paddle weather. 🍁 Cool air, 71° water and fall starting to creep into the Greenbelt. And mark OCTOBER 30 for our Halloween Fireworks & Drone Show Paddle! 🎆👻🛶✨ BYO board/kayak or rent from us.

Downtown Denton is popping with all the Halloween activities near the square and it’s a mile long line to get into the Haunted House out on W. University. Grab a Uber and be prepared to walk.
