Spirit Week is coming to LEX! Will you participate!?!

10/16/2026

At LEX, we know that creativity isn't limited to a canvas, a stage, or a music room. It shows up when scholars ask unexpected questions, find new ways to solve problems, take risks with their learning, and aren't afraid to let their imaginations lead the way!

This week's LEX Scholars of the Week are being celebrated for demonstrating CREATIVITY!

Nominated and voted on by their teachers and LEX staff members, these Blackcats remind us that there is more than one way to think, learn, create, and shine. The best ideas often start with someone brave enough to think differently! Help us congratulate these creative Blackcats! We can't wait to see what they'll dream up next! 🖤💛

What does it mean to be a Blackcat with INTEGRITY?

It's telling the truth when it would be easier not to. It's owning up to a mistake. It's making the right choice, even when nobody is watching. This week, we're shining the spotlight on some Blackcats who show us that character is built through the choices we make every single day!

Our LEX Scholars of the Week were nominated and voted on by their teachers and LEX staff members for demonstrating INTEGRITY throughout our school community. These scholars remind us that doing the right thing matters, even when it isn't the easiest thing to do. Help us give a BIG Blackcat congratulations to this week's honorees! We're proud of the people you're becoming and the example you're setting for others! 🖤💛

Help us celebrate this week’s LEX Scholars of the Week, recognized for demonstrating PERSEVERANCE!

These scholars were nominated and voted on by their teachers and LEX staff members for showing that they are willing to keep going, even when things get difficult.

Perseverance means pushing through challenges, learning from mistakes, trying a new approach when something doesn’t work, and refusing to give up on yourself. These Blackcats are showing us that growth happens when we keep trying!

We are so proud of their determination and the example they are setting throughout LEX. Congratulations to our Scholars of the Week! 🖤💛
