Math truly came to life this past week for 7th graders from nine of our program schools! In collaboration with Gear Up Kentucky, we had the privilege to bring our students to a two-hour experience filled with mystery, exploration and Math! βž—βœ¨

We kicked off this event with a performance by Cris Johnson that was filled with magic, followed by interactive exploration sessions led by Newton's Attic. πŸͺ„

We are deeply grateful to the educators and staff who made this event possible. There was plenty of curiosity, laughter and problem-solving, but what stood out most was the enthusiasm students showed for math and the possibilities that math can open for their futures. πŸ’™

A huge shout-out to the phenomenal educators at Sharp Middle, West Carter Middle, Lincoln County Middle, Mt. Washington Middle and Hebron Middle School! Seeing your classrooms in action was nothing short of inspiring. πŸ’™βž— Our team witnessed so many examples of mathematics learning!

Students were actively dissecting math concepts through vertical whiteboard tasks, drawing representations, asking questions and bringing FTL lessons to life with confidence and precision. 😎

Thank you teachers for creating classrooms where students do the math, talk the math and master the math. We are proud to see you lead the way with innovation, passion and excellence in Kentucky STEM education!
