It’s almost time to string the lights and hang the ornaments on the community’s Christmas tree, and Lexington Parks & Recreation is looking for the perfect tree donation to shine in Triangle Park this year!

The perfect tree should be a relatively full Blue Spruce or Norway Spruce, 30-40 feet tall, with enough space and access for trucks and equipment to safely get to and remove the tree. Parks & Recreation will review tree options, and once a tree is selected, remove the tree and grind the remaining stump free of charge.

Any individuals or businesses interested in donating a tree that meets the specifications should reach out to Victoria Hamm at [email protected] or (859) 288-2937 to submit their tree to be considered and learn more about the donation process.
