Lexington Fire and Rescue

Lexington Fire is out testing fire hydrants along 224 east of town. If you see water on the ground do not be alarmed this is from testing the hydrants. This is done annually to help with our insurance rating and to make sure hydrants are working appropriately.

Today, we remember and honor the 343 firefighters and all those who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

We also recognize two of our own members who climbed in their honor during a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. Their dedication is a powerful reminder that we will **Never Forget**.

We remember. We honor. We carry their legacy forward.
