🐾 Meet Nova!
Nova is ready to find her person! 💕 This sweet girl seems to form really strong bonds with people, and once she decides you’re her person, she has a lot of love to give.

Nova seems to be cat-friendly, while she is more selective about her dog friends. She can absolutely form bonds with other dogs, but she may need the right canine companion and some time to get comfortable.

Nova is a very excitable, nervous girl and is prone to excitement/nervous peeing. She is also on the hyper side and can be quite jumpy, so she may not be the best match for young children. An adult home or a home with older, dog-savvy kids may be a better fit.

Nova would love someone who can be patient with her, help her build confidence, and teach her that she doesn’t have to be quite so excited about everything! In return, you’ll get a girl who can become incredibly attached to her people and truly cherish her relationship with them. ❤️

🐾 Meet King!
King is a fun-loving, social guy who is ready to meet his forever family! ❤️

He is very dog-friendly and seems to get pretty excited when he sees cats. While he has not shown aggression toward cats, he can be enthusiastic around them, so slow introductions and supervision would be important.

King can definitely be a little hyper when he’s excited, but he also has a wonderfully chill side. He can go from “LET’S GO!” to hanging out and relaxing, making him a fun dog who can enjoy both adventures and downtime.

King came to us with a report from his previous home that he had been showing food aggression. We have not been seeing that behavior while he has been with us, but adopters should still be mindful of his history and continue to practice good management around food.

King is social, playful, and full of personality. He’s ready for someone who will appreciate his goofy, energetic side while also enjoying his calmer moments. He has so much potential to make a wonderful companion! 🐶❤️

🐾❤️ A HUGE Thank You to Our Amazing Community! ❤️🐾

We want to take a moment to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who has donated to help our pound dogs! Your generosity has provided blankets, towels, cleaning supplies, toys, and treats for the dogs in our care.

Every blanket gives a dog a little more comfort. Every toy brings some much-needed fun. Every treat adds a little happiness to their day. And the towels and cleaning supplies help us keep their environment clean and comfortable.

These dogs may be waiting for their forever homes, but thanks to our incredible community, they are surrounded by people who care about them. 🐶💕

We are so grateful for everyone who continues to support our pound pups. Thank you for helping us give these deserving dogs the love, comfort, and care they deserve! 🐾🙏

🐾 WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! 🐾

Our shelter currently has no volunteers, and our dogs could really use some extra love, attention, and exercise. ❤️

We are looking for volunteers who can help with walking the dogs and giving them some one-on-one time outside of their kennels.

🐕 Walking help needed:
🕣 8:30 AM — morning walks
🕑 2:00–4:00 PM — afternoon walks

You don’t have to commit to every day — even an hour of your time can make a huge difference! Whether you can help once a week or several days a week, we would be incredibly grateful.

Our staff is doing everything we can, but with the shelter full, we simply need more hands. These dogs deserve time outside their kennels, some exercise, and someone to remind them that they are loved. 🥺❤️

Our pound is currently in need of clean, gently used blankets and towels to help keep our dogs comfortable, warm, and clean while they wait for their forever homes. ❤️

If you have any old blankets or towels that you no longer need, we would be incredibly grateful for the donation! They don’t have to be perfect — these pups aren’t picky. 🐶

🚨 OUR DOG KENNELS ARE FULL — WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🚨

Our shelter currently has 8 dog kennels, and we are at capacity. While some of our dogs are available for adoption, many are still waiting on medical care, surgery, foster homes, or placement.

Here’s what our current dog population looks like:

🐾 1 dog on a vicious-dog hold

🐾 Daisy — AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! ❤️

Daisy is a 10-year-old Pit Bull who is an absolute sweetheart. She does well with both dogs and cats and is looking for someone who will give her the loving retirement home she deserves.

🐾 Simba — MEDICAL WAIT

Simba is a 6-year-old Husky mix who is currently working on gaining the weight he needs before he can safely undergo his neuter surgery.

🐾 Licorice — MEDICAL WAIT

Licorice is a 10–12-year-old German Shepherd currently being treated for demodex mange. Once he is healthy enough, he will be scheduled for his surgery.

🐾 King — WAITING FOR NEUTER

King is about 2 years old and a Pit Bull mix. He does well with other dogs. We were told he had food aggression, but so far, we have not been seeing that behavior while he has been with us.

🐾 Nova — WAITING FOR SPAY

Nova is about 2 years old and an Australian Shepherd mix. She is dog-selective and will need the right home and introductions.

🐾 Matthew — WAITING FOR NEUTER

Matthew is about 1 year old and a Lab mix. He does great with other dogs and is still wabiting for his surgery appointment.

🐾 4 puppies — These are the puppies I previously posted about who came from a neglect situation.

And on top of all of this, we currently have 3 dogs in foster homes. One is in the process of being adopted, while two are still looking for their forever homes.

💔 The reality is that we have no room left.

We cannot continue helping dogs in need when every kennel is occupied. Some of these dogs simply need a little more time, medical care, surgery, or the right foster/adoptive home before their kennel becomes available.

If you have ever considered fostering, adopting, or helping with one of these dogs, now is the time. Even helping us share this post can make a huge difference.

Rescue Needed for 2 male and 2 female 5/6Week-Old Pit Bull Mix Puppies 🐾

🚨 URGENT: Rescue needed 🚨

I’m looking for a rescue organization who may be able to take in a litter of Pit Bull mix puppies, just about 5/6 weeks old, who are coming from a neglect situation.

These puppies deserve a safe, clean environment where they can receive proper care, nutrition, socialization, and eventually find loving forever homes. ❤️

I’m hoping to find a rescue that can step in and take responsibility for the litter.
