Through collaborative partnerships with the Maury Service Authority, the cities of Lexington and Buena Vista, and the town of Glasgow, the PSA ensures the seamless provision of essential water and wastewater services to our community. Additionally, the City of Buena Vista provides water and sewer services for the Route 60 East subdivision of Rivermont Heights and supplies water to a portion of the Long Hollow system. Service Coverage: Our services extend to customers in various areas, including the Lexington area, Route 11 north corridor to Fairfield and Raphine, Rivermont Heights Subdivision, Natural Bridge Station, as well as the Arnold's Valley, Buck Hill, and Long Hollow communities.

πŸ’§ Water Wednesday πŸ’§

Did you know? Even a small leak can waste a surprising amount of water over time. A faucet dripping just once per second can waste more than 3,000 gallons of water each year!

βœ… Check faucets and toilets for leaks
βœ… Inspect outdoor spigots and hoses
βœ… Turn off the water while brushing your teeth
βœ… Run full loads in dishwashers and washing machines

Every drop counts, and small conservation efforts can make a big difference for our community's water resources.

🚨 Long Hollow Water Outage Update 🚨

The current water outage affecting the Long Hollow area is the result of several issues occurring at the same time.

The City of Buena Vista experienced issues within its water system that reduced the amount of water being pumped into our system. In addition, the PSA's communication system between the Long Hollow wells and the storage tank malfunctioned. As a result, the wells could not keep up with peak morning demand, causing the storage tank to be depleted faster than it could be replenished.

Our team is actively working to refill the storage tank. However, it will take approximately 8 hours for the tank to fully recover.

We ask all customers in the Long Hollow Area to conserve water whenever possible during this time to help the system recover more quickly and restore normal service.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to restore normal operations.
