Our officers and cadets have been out and about these past few weeks, joining in on local events, spending time with students, and taking every opportunity to learn, connect, and have a little fun along the way.
Our officers joined the Southwest Community Fiesta Parade and enjoyed getting to see so many familiar faces along the route.
Officer Strawn stopped by Fellowship Baptist Academy to visit with their kindergarten class.
Our Cadets had the opportunity to attend a Kansas Supreme Court hearing hosted right here at Liberal High School.
Our officers and Cadets also joined Liberal High School for their Homecoming Parade, helping celebrate the students and kick off a fun Homecoming Game!
And this weekend, we enjoyed seeing so many familiar faces at the Liberal Chamber of Commerce Duck Festival! Our Cadets were also invited to watch a demonstration by Southern Pioneer Electric Co. while they were there, giving them another opportunity to learn and see our community partners in action.
We’re grateful for every invitation, conversation, classroom visit, parade wave, and community event that gives us a chance to connect outside of our usual calls for service.
