These three precious kittens have been surrendered to the Liberal Animal Shelter, and now they're ready for their next chapter! 🐱❤️

Meet Milo, Loki, and Lola! They're almost 4 months old, full of potential, and ready to discover just how wonderful the world can be. They are absolutely precious and just want what every kitten deserves: love, safety, and a family to call their own. 🏡💕

Their story is especially sweet because their momma was adopted from our shelter and found her loving home. Now, we're hoping to help her babies find that same happily ever after! 🥹❤️

🐾💖 ADOPTION UPDATE: LIZZIE IS LIVING HER BEST LIFE! 💖🐾

Miss Lizzie is loving her new home, and it sounds like this girl is keeping everyone on their toes! 😂💕 With all that energy, she takes every opportunity she can to run around the house and burn off some of that puppy excitement!

When she’s not zooming around, Lizzie enjoys her afternoon naps and spending time outside playing with her favorite things… STICKS! 🌳🪵 And the bigger, the better! Apparently, it doesn’t matter if the stick is bigger than she is. 🤣

Lizzie also loves having a playmate, and she’s made a furry friend in her new home! 🐱❤️ She and the family cat get along really well, and she absolutely loves chasing him around.

We are so happy to hear that Lizzie is settling in, making friends, and filling her new home with lots of love, laughter, and a little bit of chaos! 🥰

🐾💙 HAPPY TAILS UPDATE: CAMDEN! 💙🐾

Oh, Camden! 😂❤️ It sounds like this sweet boy has settled right in and is keeping his new family entertained!

According to his family, Camden LOVES to bully his big fur sister, Kila, bring sticks inside after EVERY potty break (because apparently, every stick is a treasure! 🌿😂), and enjoy outside time any chance he gets!

He's already learning to sit for his treats, too! 🦴 And his favorite hobbies? Giving everyone head scratches and playing in their hair! 😆 What a silly, lovable personality!

We are so happy to hear that Camden is thriving and filling his new home with laughter, love, and plenty of puppy shenanigans. ❤️

Thank you to Camden's family for giving him a loving home and sharing these precious updates with us!

💖🐾 ADOPTION UPDATE: STARFIRE IS NOW NOVA! 🐾💖

Just look at our girl Nova living her BEST life! 🥹💕 Previously known as Starfire, this sweet girl has settled right into her forever home, and Grandma was kind enough to share these adorable updates with us!

From lounging on the big bed to chilling in Grandpa’s recliner and snuggling up with her favorite blanket, Nova is clearly mastering the art of being spoiled! 🛏️🧸🐶

Her grandma says she is SO loved, and we couldn’t be happier to hear it! ❤️ We are especially thankful that her daughter chose to adopt Nova from Liberal Animal Shelter and give her the loving home she deserves.

These are the updates that make everything we do worthwhile! Seeing our shelter babies go from waiting for a family to being cherished members of one is the BEST feeling ever. 🥰

❤️🐾 A MESSAGE FROM THE TEAM AT LIBERAL ANIMAL SHELTER 🐾❤️

Since sharing the news about Lyra and her seven beautiful babies, we have received some very unkind comments. We understand the concerns about pet overpopulation and the overwhelming number of dogs in shelters and rescues. Please know that we live this reality every single day. We see it, we feel it, and we work hard every day to make a difference.

But here is the thing: Lyra's babies are already here, and we believe they deserve to be celebrated. ❤️ These seven little lives deserve a chance, and we will do our very best to get them into a rescue where they can receive the care they need until they are ready to be weaned and eventually adopted into loving homes.

As shelter staff, we have learned that there is simply no way to make everyone happy. Some believe we should have pursued a spay and abort, while others believe we are horrible for even considering it. No matter what decisions we make, someone will disagree.

We make the best decisions we can with the situations we are given, always keeping the animals' well-being at the heart of what we do. Are we perfect? No. Do we always have all the resources, answers, or options we wish we had? Absolutely not. But we show up, we care, we advocate, and we do the very best we can for the animals who depend on us.

You can acknowledge the heartbreaking reality of pet overpopulation and still celebrate seven new lives. Both things can be true. ❤️

To everyone who continues to support us, encourage us, and recognize how hard our team works, THANK YOU. Your kindness means more than you know. We appreciate those who understand that even when our decisions may not align with everyone's opinions, our goal remains the same: to do what we believe is best for the animals in our care.

Please keep Lyra and her babies in your thoughts as we work toward giving this little family the best possible future. They deserve kindness, too. 🐶❤️🐾
