🎉 It’s the start of DSP Week!

September 13–19 is Direct Support Professional Recognition Week, and we’re excited to celebrate the incredible DSPs making a difference throughout Henry County!

Direct Support Professionals play an important role in helping individuals with developmental disabilities live, work, connect, make choices, build independence, and be active members of their communities.

Throughout the week, we’ll be highlighting some of the many ways DSPs make an impact each and every day.

To all of the DSPs serving individuals in Henry County: thank you for the work you do, the support you provide, and the difference you make!

Another NEW addition to Liberty Days 2026 - a shuttle service! 4A Housing will be providing continuous shuttle service the entire day on Saturday all to give the best experience to our attendees. 

Parking will be available in the school parking lot, as well as the Spring Sports Complex. Once parked, shuttles will be transporting people to the downtown action throughout the day. Hop back on the shuttle at the Depot or Circle K and you will be taken back to your car. We are excited to provide this new addition to Liberty Days📍

What a cool event!

The Anthony Wayne Football program invited students with developmental disabilities to experience Victory Day with the varsity team on July 30, 2026, at the high school in Whitehouse. Participants got to take the field under the stadium lights alongside a Generals player serving as their mentor.

Victory Day participants were announced by name as they entered the field through the team tunnel, just like the Generals at home games. They ran drills and got to score a touchdown with play-by-play announcing on the loudspeaker.

Each participant received an authentic Anthony Wayne football jersey and a commemorative mini football helmet. The evening concluded with free walking tacos and slushies.
