We loved having the Library's Story Walk in its current location, but it's time to move on to new pastures!

While we find a new home for the Storywalk, it has been taken down and will be temporarily unavailable. Keep an eye here on our Facebook or on our website to be the first to know when we have news about the Walk!

THANK YOU to the Casey County Hospital for allowing us to use the Walk's original location.

📜Casey History Makers
📅 Saturday, November 7th
🕑 10:00 - 11:30 AM

History isn’t going to make itself - it needs people like you!

Leave your mark on history in this genealogy-based group. This session, we’ll be hosting a wonderful one-woman-show on the life of Mary Todd Lincoln! Catherine Gaffney will be doing a live, in-character presentation as the wife of Abraham Lincoln.

“Mary Todd Lincoln lives again in actress Catherine Gaffney’s talented and engaging portrayal, sponsored by the Kentucky Humanities Council. With the help of Bo List’s masterful script, Gaffney gives a convincing depiction of this fascinating personality, Mary Todd Lincoln, who was both influential and controversial, even in her own time. The result was an audience’s delight. We became Mrs. Lincoln’s confidants as she prepares for a night out with the President. A theatrical experience of the highest quality!” - E. M. Miller

-Sign-ups not required
-All materials provided
-On the first Saturday of each month
