As our week-long Annual Deer Hunt comes to an end, we want to take a moment to thank the 10 amazing Veterans who joined us this year. It was an honor to welcome each of you to camp and share a week filled with fellowship, memories, laughter, and time spent enjoying the great outdoors. At America’s Freedom Lodge, our mission is to help disabled veterans get back out into the outdoors, creating opportunities to reconnect, build friendships, and enjoy the experiences they deserve. Weeks like this remind us exactly why we do what we do. The harvest is always a bonus, but the memories made, friendships strengthened, and smiles shared are what truly matter.

To our 10 Veterans, thank you for spending your week with us and thank you to yours families for allowing us to spend a week with you. We hope you enjoyed your time at camp and are heading home with wonderful memories that will last a lifetime, we wish each of you safe travels home.

Thank you for your service and sacrifices for our country !!

A special thank-you to all of our members, volunteers, and supporters who help make opportunities like this possible — we couldn’t do it without you !!

Another great day out in the woods with our Veterans !!

The smiles, memories and time spent together are what this hunt is truly all about. The harvest is a bonus, but giving our Veterans the opportunity to get back outdoors and enjoy the experiences they deserve is what matters most. Tomorrow morning is our last morning together in the woods and we will enjoy every moment.

What a wonderful start to a week filled with fellowship, laughter and memories that will last a lifetime.

While the harvest is certainly a bonus, the true reward is seeing our Veterans enjoying the experiences, friendships, and freedom of the great outdoors. These are the moments that remind us why our mission matters so much.
