At approximately 5:20 a.m. this morning, fire crews were dispatched to a reported structure fire. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy fire conditions showing from a first-floor window.

Due to the volume of fire and the need for additional resources, a second alarm was requested. Crews quickly initiated an aggressive fire attack and successfully contained the fire, preventing further extension throughout the structure.

There were no injuries reported to firefighters or civilians.
