“Crime Victim Services is extremely grateful for the generous financial support of our programming from the Ar-Hale Family Foundation,” says Executive Director, Amy Wiechart-Bayliff. “Creating safer communities is the responsibility of all of us, and we appreciate the Foundation’s recognition of the impact that an advocate can have for a child who has experienced trauma. September 25 is the National Day of Remembrance for Homicide Victims. Each year, we set aside this day to honor the lives and memories of those lost to homicide.

Yesterday, we hosted a memorial service at the Phyllis Neff Homicide Victim Memorial Garden. Bricks engraved with the names of those lost to homicide in 2025 were officially sent into the garden.

Families, friends and community members are welcome to visit the garden to honor and remember.
