Always learning!
Bookmobile staff Janet and Kevin attended the Colorado Library Consortium AspenCat Conference this week. The two day event focused on AspenCat (the catalog we share with 160+ Colorado libraries) and small and rural libraries. It’s always good to network, share ideas, and see the bigger picture. Small libraries fill big roles in their communities!

We survived County Fair, statehood day, torrential rain, and now it’s back to school!
Tomorrow’s route will stop at the Karval School (10:30-12:00) and Genoa-Hugo School (1:30-3:30).
Fall routes begin in September!

Bookmobile experienced a little mechanical issue with the generator in Karval today.
No fear! Our great mechanic Nathan is right down the road (in Karval) and is working on it atm.

Team work makes the dream work!
The Bookmobile partnered with the Karval School to support summer activities in the Karval Park. We brought materials to share and had story time, the kids did crafts and participated in activities.
We are grateful for sharing the investment in our youth.
