This week, at our 102nd Annual Meeting, our community gathered to celebrate our communal impact, all the ways we have sown hope together over the past year. We are so grateful all of our amazing partners who through their donations and volunteerism have united in something bigger!

Yogurtini is generously donating 15% of all sales during this fundraiser to United Way's Virtual Book Drive! This past year, the Virtual Book Drive helped distribute nearly 4,000 books to students in our community to open up opportunities through literacy.

With only a staff of ten, Good Neighbor Community Center relies on volunteers to serve the community through its many programs. Lisa Ross, the Director of Community Affairs for the center, says “Volunteers have a huge impact on our daily operations. As a lifelong Lincoln resident, Alexandra Ball has volunteered on and off for years, but recently decided to make an effort to volunteer more regularly. "Volunteering makes me feel fulfilled and connected to my community in a way that nothing else does."

Today our staff joined with Lancaster Connected to observe National Child Neglect/Abuse Month. Creating a community where all children are safe means ensuring every family has the resources they need build strong families. This includes parental supports as well as foundational needs such as food and housing. Together we can close gaps across our community so that every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Lincoln resident, Andrea McFadden has been volunteering for over 20 years and readily encourages others to volunteer. Meet the two newest members of our Community Impact team! Adrienne Pettigrew joins us as our first Central Navigator, helping families connect to resources and coaching in order to thrive. Hannah Davis is our Admin & Community Impact Specialist, keeping us all organized and ready to close gaps in the community!
