Catch of the Week! Sir that was simply poetry in motion watching you land that carp with 8 lb test. Solid hook set, way to back off on the drag, and thank you for keeping it out of the other 10 lines. You my friend landed the catch of the week. NICE JOB!
Thanks to all that participated this week on the water.

Senior League Fishing Standings May 2026
Saunders Medical Center Team Taylor has jumped to the leaderboard with Saline & Butler counties currently in a distant 2nd & 3rd place position. The ladies are targeting larger fish in deeper water on the left side of the boat while coach May has been mentoring her Jr. players on the right side of the boat near the rocks running up the score with some giant crappie. A few of the boys got caught "Showboating" waving at the girls, squirreling around and chasing frogs but after a brief timeout they regained their focus and landed a few wipers on their home field. Keep a watch on Seward & Dodge counties, they may have used the transfer portal to bring in additional talent. Live Well Go Fish!
Lower Platte North NRD nice job with field maintenance the lake looks great and you have managed Croud control well. Thank You!

Heritage Day. Thank You. Special thanks to Heritage Communities, the Lower Platte North NRD, the Wahoo community and education center along with our great volunteers for helping build these relationships. Watching school buses and Heritage buses jam the parking lot on lake Wanahoo was pretty cool. Kids from age 7 to 97 all enjoying the lake on a cool spring morning. Season 10 is here. Congratulation to Kevin (leave it to a Veteran) to catch the 1st fish of the year. Nice Job All.
