We've got two great events coming up this week! Our monthly meeting is this Thursday, June 4th, at Fariner Bakery in Ashland; social time starts at 5:30PM, and the business meeting begins at 6:15PM. This month we will go over our parade and event schedule for the summer, talk about getting new tee shirts for parades, and discuss anything else you'd like to talk about!

Our first parade of the season is on Sunday, June 7th in Valparaiso! We'll line up at the ballfields for a 4:30PM walk - please plan to arrive by 4PM. Remember, we always have room in the truck for anyone who'd like to be with us at our parades but doesn't want to walk. We are always happy to see you!

As a reminder, the Nebraska Stonewall Democrats will host their second G**s Eating Garlic Bread in the Park in Lincoln!! The last time they hosted this event at the smaller enclosure in Antelope Park, it was a huge success! This year, they are moving it to the larger Auld Pavilion in the same park.

You are certainly welcome to bring garlic bread or your favorite dish. There will be plenty of food for everyone! The event will be tomorrow, beginning at 1 PM. See you there!

Join us as we walk with Mayor John Ewing, Councilwoman LaVonya Goodwin, and State Senator Victor Rountree in one of Omaha's most exciting community events!

A shout-out to the Howard County Democrats (Nebraska) who banded together to support their community whenever challenges arise. This past week, they donated over $900 to victims of the St. Libory tornado. By working together, they make their community stronger and more resilient!
