The wait is over, neighbors!
Tomorrow morning is our annual Malone/Hawley Neighborhood Clean-Up, and we need your help to make a big impact! Grab your gloves, dress for the weather, and let’s come together to keep our community clean and beautiful.
⏰ Saturday, June 6 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 NeighborWorks Lincoln (2530 Q Street)
🗺️ We are focusing on the neighborhoods bounded by 27th Street, Vine Street, O Street, and Antelope Valley Parkway.
This clean-up is for folks to throw away large items that cannot fit into a typical trash bin, but also to have volunteers pick up litter. If you have trash you want to get rid of and don't have a way of hauling it, please place it in the right-of-way between the sidewalk and the curb, and we will have folks in trucks running around the neighborhood! 🚛💨
Whether you can spare thirty minutes or the whole three hours, every bit of help makes a massive difference for the streets we live and work on.
If you get lost, need assistance, or have any last-minute questions about the clean-up, please don’t hesitate to reach out directly to Tut Kailech at 402.413.1427 or [email protected].
See you tomorrow at 9 a.m.! Let's do this! 💪☕🎉

We’re excited to share that NeighborWorks Lincoln was been selected as the June 2026 SEED Program recipient at Open Harvest Co-op Grocery!
For the entire month of June, every time you shop at the store, you’ll have the chance to round up your total at checkout to support our mission. It’s simple: grab your fresh groceries, local treats, or daily snacks, and round up your purchase to help us expand affordable housing opportunities across our city.
Even better, June is National Homeownership Month, and 2026 marks our 40th anniversary of strengthening neighborhoods in Lincoln! There is no better way to celebrate than by supporting the local establishments that keep our city thriving.
When you choose to shop local and buy your groceries at Open Harvest this month, a little change adds up to a big difference for your neighbors.
Thank you, Open Harvest, for helping us grow community, housing, and opportunity for 40 years and counting! 🌲✨
