That’s a wrap on our final fall Face the Chamber Series of 2026! 🎉

Today, we welcomed Paige Piper, Executive Director of BraveBe Child Advocacy Center, who shared more about BraveBe’s mission to support children and families impacted by abuse and violence, as well as the important advocacy, prevention and healing services they provide throughout our community and surrounding counties.

This morning, we hosted a press conference to share the findings of Growing with Care, a new report examining the impact of child care on Lancaster County’s workforce and economy. Following the press conference, Dr. Katie Bass, Director of Policy Research at Early Futures Partnership, presented an overview of the report’s key findings.

Access to reliable, affordable child care is essential for working families, local employers and our community’s economic growth. The report highlights the challenges that remain and the importance of addressing them to strengthen our workforce and support a thriving local economy.

Commissioned by the City of Lincoln Government, Lancaster County, Nebraska, Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and Lincoln Littles. We recently celebrated the ribbon cutting of the Lincoln Children's Museum! 🎉

The museum recently earned accreditation from the Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC) and unveiled its new STEM exhibit, MAKE IT MOVE! 🚀 The exhibit features hands-on experiences, including a three-tier Rube Goldberg system, Pin Wall, Spin Table, Wind Tubes and Sound Pinball Table, giving kids exciting new ways to explore science, technology and creativity!
