Paul Kenney - Classroom Calling Paul Kenney, an LPS graduate and band director, uses his journey through struggle, military service, and education to inspire students. Through music, he builds community, confidence, and purpose, helping students grow both personally and academically.

The 43rd has had several promotions the last few months. Congratulations to SGT Josie Anderson, SSG Mark Freeouf, SSG Jacob Welling, SFC Mary Beave, and SGT Daniel Shipley. The band is in great hands with your continued leadership. NCOs lead the way!

Have you seen our small groups perform? These performances are full of variety and have something for everyone! Look for us in Valentine, Burwell, and Atkinson this summer.

Our Concert Band is performing in Ainsworth, Fort Hartsuff, O'Neill and Seward this summer! Come and see us if you are in the area!

We were privileged to host the Patriots of the Plains Honor Band this weekend, featuring 112 students from 54 different schools statewide. We appreciate the support of the recruiting battalion and senior leadership within the Nebraska National Guard, which helped make this event successful!

We're looking forward to hosting over 100 Nebraska high school students at our 2nd annual honor band on February 7!

Today we recognized 1SG Laura Hardesty for her 41 years of dedicated service in the Nebraska National Guard. We conducted a Change of Responsibility ceremony and would like to congratulate our new First Sergeant, 1SG Nicole Tefft.
