Today's U.S. Department of Energy's visit to Green Plains Inc. York celebrates current 45Z updates and new DOE funding opportunities.

Today, U.S. Department of Energy Assistant Secretary Audrey Robertson visited Green Plains in York, highlighting two important announcements for the future of American-made fuels.

✔️ Up to $60 million in potential funding to advance innovative fuel, chemical, and fertilizer technologies, strengthening domestic energy production and rural economies.

✔️ A new 45Z emissions evaluation process providing an important pathway for fuel producers seeking to qualify for clean fuel production tax credits.

FUEL THE CURE IS BACK!

Throughout the month of October, every time you fill up with a higher blend of ethanol at a participating CPI location, you’re helping support local cancer patients.

For every gallon of E15 through flex-fuel E85 sold at participating CPI locations, CPI will donate 3¢ to the Heartland Cancer Foundation.

Those donations support HCF’s grant program, which provides fuel gift cards to local cancer patients traveling to and from treatment. The Heartland Cancer Foundation has assisted patients in 39 counties and 98 communities across Nebraska.

It’s more than fuel. It’s neighbors helping neighbors, one gallon at a time.

Participating CPI locations: Axtell Station, Clay Center Premier Stop, Funk Station, Giltner, Hastings Showboat, Hildreth, Juniata Station, Kearney, Red Cloud Station, Superior Premier Stop, Wilcox Station and Wood River.

🎃 It’s October, and we’re excited to participate in Fuel the Cure again this year! When drivers choose higher ethanol blends - E15, E30, or E85 - at our fueling stations this month, it triggers a 3¢ donation per gallon sold to Heartland Cancer Research.

LINCOLN, Nebraska – The Nebraska Ethanol Board (NEB) today welcomes three Nebraska ethanol producers to the board as voting members. Todd Good from Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), Joe Shanle from Trenton Agri Products (TAP), and Brent Hoops from Chief Ethanol were appointed by Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen to fill the three newly-created ethanol producer seats on the NEB, effective immediately. Read more:
