Today, we're proud to recognize Rebecca Anderson as a recipient of BraveBe's Acts of Bravery Award!

As a Guardian ad Litem, Rebecca plays an incredibly important role in advocating for the best interests of children navigating difficult circumstances. Her dedication, professionalism, and commitment to doing what's right have made her an invaluable partner in our work.

Rebecca approaches every situation with compassion and a trauma informed perspective, ensuring that the voices and needs of children remain at the center of every decision. She recognizes the importance of collaboration, values the expertise of her fellow professionals, and isn't afraid to advocate for what children need, even when faced with challenges or roadblocks.

One of our favorite things about our partnership with First State Bank is how involved their team is in making Monster Dash happen.

Every year, they bring an incredible group of volunteers who are ready to jump in wherever they're needed. They also generously host our packet pickup, help spread the word and encourage their team and community to participate.

It's one thing to support an event financially, but it's something special to see that support extend to the people who show up, lend a hand and make the day better for everyone.

💛 Happy Boss's Day to our incredible leadership team! 💛

Behind everything we do at BraveBe is a team of leaders who work tirelessly to support our staff, strengthen our organization, and ensure we can continue showing up for the children and families who need us.

Over the years, BraveBe has experienced incredible growth. We've expanded our services, welcomed new team members, opened satellite locations, and found new ways to serve our communities. None of that would be possible without the vision, dedication, and hard work of our leadership team.

Leadership isn't always easy, and so much of what our leaders do happens behind the scenes. From navigating challenges and making difficult decisions to encouraging new ideas and supporting our staff, they help create an environment where our team can do its best work.

To our leadership team, thank you! Thank you for believing in our mission, investing in our people, and continuing to push BraveBe forward while never losing sight of why we do this work.

🎉 Congratulations to our Employee of the Quarter, Peyton Davis! 🎉

From the moment Peyton joined BraveBe as an intern, it was clear she was going to be an incredible addition to our team!

Peyton began her professional journey with BraveBe as a Family Advocate, quickly becoming a trusted resource for children, families, and coworkers alike. Today, as our Anti-Trafficking & Exploitation Specialist, she continues to build on that impact, providing critical support and advocacy for youth who have experienced or are at risk of trafficking and exploitation.

This quarter, Peyton has taken on the challenges of transitioning into a new role while continuing to manage a demanding caseload, support her teammates, and ensure every child and family she works with feels heard, respected, and cared for. She has an incredible ability to remain calm and steady in difficult situations while fiercely advocating for the needs and best interests of the children she serves.

Peyton is also someone who never hesitates to step up for her team. Whether helping new staff and interns, offering guidance to coworkers, taking on additional cases, or lending her voice to our Harvest of Hope video, she consistently finds ways to go above and beyond.

Beyond her incredible work ethic and dedication, Peyton brings humor, positivity, and genuine care to the people around her. She is a trusted teammate, a strong advocate, and someone who truly embodies our core value of Kids Come First, Always.
