The Nebraska legislature is back in session, and there are several bills that attack affordable, clean energy, and our ability to make our own local decisions in our communities. We need your help.

BIG NEWS! Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) voted earlier today to set a decarbonization goal of net-zero carbon by 2050, joining both Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) and Lincoln Electric System (LES) in committing to carbon neutrality.

This is a huge win for our state and it means that nearly every Nebraskan is served by an electric utility that is committed to net-zero carbon! Over the past six years, you have helped us elect clean energy champions who have now created a clear path to lead Nebraska to a cleaner future.

This would not have happened without your involvement and the actions you took to encourage your local representatives to transition our state’s electricity sector toward clean energy.
