🌏✨ This summer, educators from Nebraska, Kansas, and Ohio traveled to China for an immersive cultural and educational exchange hosted in partnership with Southwest Jiaotong University. Participants explored Chinese language, culture, history, and opportunities for future collaboration while building meaningful connections that will benefit students and communities back home.
A highlight of the trip: 100% of participants reported learning more about Chinese language and culture and shared ideas for future collaboration between the U.S. and China.

Excited to help connect Nebraska students with global learning opportunities!
Today, representatives from University of Nebraska High School and Southwest Jiaotong University met to explore potential collaboration in Chinese language education. We shared information about our programs, discussed innovative approaches to language learning, and viewed course demonstrations showcasing both institutions' strengths.
A special thank you to Professor Yu for presenting Southwest Jiaotong University's collaboration model, successful partnerships, and resources that could support future work. It was also wonderful to learn more about the University of Nebraska High School's successful asynchronous Chinese language program.

🌟 Thank You, Dr. Pérez Marrero Antonio Sergio 🌟
NDE World & Dual Language Education and NEBLA extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Pérez Marrero Antonio Sergio, Education Advisor at the Embassy of Spain, for his extraordinary contributions to Nebraska language education.
From restarting the J-1 Visiting Teacher Program to supporting Dual Language programs, presenting in the NDE Guest Speaker Series, collaborating with NEBLA, leading Spanish Day live sessions, and serving on the World Language Advisory Panel—his impact has been profound and lasting.
As he prepares to return to Spain this July to begin a new chapter, we wish him all the very best. Nebraska is grateful for his partnership and friendship, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration in the years to come.
