We are deeply saddened by the loss of our pianist, Wilma Reiner Sundeen. For years, she provided the gentle sound of piano music at our funeral services. Her extraordinary gift and unwavering dedication helped bring peace, healing, and hope to generations of families during some of life's most difficult days.

Wilma's journey with Roper & Sons began when she was just 11-years-old. Recognizing her remarkable talent, owner Max Roper invited her to play for a funeral service. What began as a single opportunity grew into a lifelong ministry spanning decades. Wilma spent a lifetime sharing her gift of music by teaching students, accompanying singers, performing across the country, recording music, and inspiring musicians.

We will remember her kindness, humility, and servant's heart, and we are profoundly grateful for the many years she shared her gifts with our families and our community. Her spirit, grace, and dedication will be deeply missed, but the echoes of her music will remain in our hearts for years to come.

When a loved one dies, families don't always have time to sit down and think about all of the things that need to be done. We understand how overwhelming this can feel. That's why we prepared a checklist to help families work through the necessary details.

When families tell us that they "received excellent service in a caring manner" at their loved one's funeral, we take that personally.

Serving families with kindness and heartfelt support is at the center of everything we do.

Our first Memorial bouquet-making event was all we hoped it would be. Together, our guests created beautiful bouquets in memory and honor of the loved ones who continue to hold a special place in their hearts.

The afternoon was filled with remembrance, conversation, creativity, and connection. Thank you to everyone who joined us and shared this special time together as we reflect on the meaning of Memorial Day.

Thank you, Stem Gallery for your partnership in this event. 💐

Honoring the men and women who served our country is a beautiful tribute that sometimes gets overlooked. Including an Honor Guard is a quiet, moving way to acknowledge their service and offer deep respect for their commitment. It also brings families a sense of comfort that reflects what words often cannot.

Read "A Meaningful Tribute of Honor, Gratitude, and Remembrance" at the link in the comments to learn more about how we help families make arrangements for the Honor Guard at their loved one's funeral.
