Square Root Little Free Library

Little book refresh!

Due to a very generous donor, we were able to do a full restock! Come and check it out!

We are restocked and the handle/front of the machine has been cleaned. There are even some activity books in here for kiddos.

Remember, if you come by and take a book, keep it until this all blows over. Or just keep it. Because we have such generous patrons I have plenty of books to provide!

We are still up and running during this lockdown. Books will be rotated this weekend.

Reminder though: after you come and collect books to read, in this instance, Square Root LFL does not need them back for at least a couple of months. Or you can keep them and add them to your collection. We have plenty of books to share!

After collecting books, wash your hands. Your steward is working from home and will try to make it out a few times a day to clean the handle and other frequently touched surfaces on the library, but it is a good idea to wash your hands after touching any surface out in the community.

On the back of the wonderful Stuff the Library yesterday, we got 6 Danielle Steele books placed in memory of Dianne Parker, who was a huge fan. 3 of them are in the library now along with a selection of children’s and maker books!

Thank you to the donors who filled Square Root LFL with personal care items! These will go where most needed! 💕💕💕💕

The library is empty of books to make room for donations of personal hygiene/feminine hygiene products. We will be going from 10 am - 5pm today! Let’s fill it up!

We've learned of a shortage of toiletries and feminine hygiene products at our local non-profits. For one day, we're clearing out the books so we can stuff Little Free Libraries with items for those in need!
We'll take new toiletries and feminine products and deliver those to non-profits around Lincoln.

You're our kind of people.

Please, look at our books. Run your fingers on the spines as you walk down the aisles. Sit on the floor and read some. Clutch the stack of books you're taking home as if they're treasures. Never lose your excitement.
