It’s time to celebrate our newest Silver Spoon winners! 🥄🎉
This time, we are excited to announce that Mr. Myer’s 4th Grade class is our newest winner! Even more exciting, this is the FIRST time in Hartley history that his class has earned this award!
We are so proud of the positive changes they’ve been making in the cafeteria. One staff member shared how quietly and independently they came in on Thursday, while another noted that they’ve shown the most improvement of all the classes!
Congratulations, Mr. Myer’s class! Your hard work is paying off, and we couldn’t be more excited for you!

The 5th graders have been working hard to put together a multi part arrangement of one of their favorite songs. Do you recognize this catchy intro? This activity has had them practicing rhythm reading, reading the treble clef, and working as a group to balance their sound. They’ve worked very hard and have had a blast!

🥄 It’s time to celebrate our newest Silver Spoon winners! 🥄
Approximately every two weeks, a Hartley grade-level class has the opportunity to earn our coveted Silver Spoon Award. The award goes to the class that demonstrates what it means to be safe, respectful, and responsible in the cafeteria.
This week, it is my tremendous honor to announce that Ms. Himmelberg’s 3rd Grade class is our Silver Spoon winner!
Ms. Himmelberg’s class really showed us what calm, safe, and responsible cafeteria behavior looks like. They settled down quickly with heads down and voices off, stopped immediately when asked by adults, and did an excellent job listening and responding to directions when the lights were out.
Their ability to stay calm, follow directions, and work together as a class truly stood out!
Congratulations, Ms. Himmelberg’s 3rd Grade class!
Way to go, Hartley! Keep up the great work, everyone!
