It's Giving Tuesday! We are raising funds for our yearly Holiday Outreach. We work with area school administrators and counselors to identify families that could use a boost during the holidays. We would be so grateful if you would consider contributing to this project. You can drop off a gift card, check, or contribute on Venmo ().

It's that time of year! We are collecting donations and gift cards for local families who could use some help this holiday season. This year we are helping families that have suffered losses from cancer and other extradinary circumstances. Together we can make the holidays brighter and more hopeful for the children and their parents/caretakers. You can contribute on Venmo (see pic in comments for details), drop a check off at Clear Vision Eye Care (made out to the Kiwanis Club of Northwest Lincoln), or drop off a gift card. We are collecting gift cards to Super Saver Foods, Walmart, Target, area restaurants, etc! These families truly appreciate everything!

The Northwest Lincoln Kiwanis Club's Fall Harvest Festival was a success even though challenged by the wind. Everyone had a great time with the pumpkin painting and hay rack rides. Thanks to those volunteers of all ages that helped out.

Join us on Thursday, October 13th from 4p-7p for the Fallbrook Farmers' Market Fall Harvest Festival.

This year we will have:
*Our awesome local produce, specialty food, and craft vendors
*Hay rack rides (courtesy of AKRS Equipment of Seward)
*Pumpkin decorating (buy a pumpkin from the Kiwanis Club of Northwest Lincoln to help support the kids in our community)
*Live music from Oasis Bluegrass Band
*Story time with Read Aloud Lincoln by Lincoln Public Library
*Food trucks: Pork’s Done and Klein's Funnel Cakes
It is going to be a ton of fun! You won't want to miss it!

The North Star High School Key Club that is sponsored by the Lincoln Northwest Kiwanis Club meets on Wednesdays. Their year is off to a great start with officers elected and some new projects being planned. They are looking for funds to assist with sending 4-6 members to the NE-IA Key Leader Camp on October 28-30 at Camp Carol Joy Holling at Ashland.

What a great day we had yesterday at the YMCA Camp Kitaki clean up day. Kitaki is a special place for our community’s children and we were fortunate to play a small part in getting it ready for the summer!
