NOTICE: LINCOLN COUNTY VETERAN SERVICES OFFICE CLOSURE

The Lincoln County Veteran Services Office will be closed Monday, September 21 through Friday, September 25 as our staff attends our Fall Conference.

This conference provides valuable training and opportunities to stay up to date on programs, benefits, and resources so that we can continue to better serve our veterans, their families, and our community when we return.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

For emergency VA assistance, please call 1-800-827-1000.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to serving you when we return!

Today, we remember September 11, 2001, and the lives forever changed that day.

We honor the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the brave men and women who answered the call to serve in the years that followed.

We Remember. We Honor. We Will Never Forget. 🇺🇸

Join us tomorrow morning!

As your Veterans Service Officer, I’m sharing this request from West Lincoln High School’s Marching Band as they prepare a special show honoring local men who gave their lives in service to our country.
The band would like to honor the Veterans whose names are memorialized on the monuments at the Lincoln County Courthouse in Lincolnton. However, they want to do this the right way — with the permission and involvement of their families.
If you are a family member of one of the following veterans, or if you know someone who is, please reach out to Jacob Brittain at:
📧 [email protected]
You can also send him a message here on Facebook.
If you know a family member but aren't comfortable sharing their contact information publicly, please tag them in the comments or send this post to them directly.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to help ensure their names and sacrifices continue to be remembered by future generations.

Great local organization! Keep up the great work!

🚨🚨 WELL, LOOK WHAT WE DID! 🚨🚨

VETERAN #200!!! 🇺🇸❤️

Yep… TWO HUNDRED veterans helped! TWO. HUNDRED. 😳

When we opened this crazy little thrift store, we thought, “Hey, let’s help a few veterans.”

Fast-forward to now… apparently we have a problem with knowing when to stop. 😂

200 veterans is HUGE. And we couldn’t have done it without every single person who shops, donates, volunteers, shares our posts, and supports L.O.V.

So today, we’re celebrating 200 veterans served—and giving ourselves approximately 12 minutes to celebrate before we get back to work. 😂

🇺🇸 200 veterans. One crazy little thrift store. And a whole lot of LOVE. ❤️

THANK YOU for helping us make it happen!

🇺🇸❤️

UPDATE: WE ARE UP AND RUNNING

Please bear with us this morning as our software provider performs scheduled system updates.

During this time, we are unable to access our system, which limits our ability to assist veterans and their families. We expect to be fully operational again by around lunchtime.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding. Thank you for allowing us to serve you!
