Week 2 of Penny Wars
Presented by Lind PTO

Tomorrow starts week 2 of Penny Wars!

If you dont know this fundraiser helps the students go on field trips, these are educational enrichment opportunities for students to learn about their curriculum in a fun and engaging way.

We also use this fundraiser to help with projects for the school.

And lastly the winning class gets a check to buy something for their classroom. This allows the students to work together as a team. Building teamwork skills and decision-making skills. The kids can buy new stuff for their classroom (chair, books, crafts, pizza or ice cream party, ect.)

We had a slow start to week one. Keep following us on Facebook for the PLOT TWIST TOMORROW!!

📬 LES Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent-Teacher Conference dates and times were mailed out on Friday, October 9th. LES parents should have received their notification in the mail.

The LES 3rd grade class has been hard at work! Here are a few examples from their multiplication practice.

The 3rd grade class finished up their reading unit on Classic Tales. They had the opportunity to disguise the sneaky toad & show off their creativity skills. This group is about half way through their second reading unit on Animal Classification!
