Dear Linden-Kildare CISD community,

It is with heavy hearts and a deep sadness that we share the tragic news of the passing of two students from our recently graduated 2026 class.

Our hearts are broken for their families, friends, classmates, and all those who knew and loved them. Although they had only recently begun the next chapter of their lives, they made an impact on those around them, and their presence will be deeply missed.

In the days ahead, grief counseling and additional emotional support will be available for students and staff who need it. We encourage anyone who is struggling with this loss to reach out for support. We will continue to work together to ensure our school community has the care, compassion, and resources needed during this difficult time.

During this difficult time, we as a school district are extending our heartfelt condolences to both families and everyone affected by this devastating loss. We hope they can find comfort in the love and support of their community as they navigate the days ahead.
We ask that everyone keep these families, their friends, and loved ones in their thoughts and prayers, and that we respect their privacy as they grieve.

Though their lives were tragically cut short, the memories they created and the lives they touched will not be forgotten. They will always be remembered as part of our community. Rest in peace. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered. ❤️

Sincerely,

Joel Windham
Superintendent LK CISD
