❤️BEHIND EVERY GREAT EVENT…THERE ARE SOME PRETTY AMAZING PEOPLE!❤️
Tomorrow is the big day! Our Haunted Trail & Bonfire is almost here, and while we’ve spent the last two weeks sharing all the exciting things we have planned, today we want to share something a little different.
The people who make it happen.
👏As I write this, our parks crew, past employees, current employees, and Park Board members are outside working in the RAIN, hauling chairs, hay bales, cornstalks, supplies, setting up equipment, and doing whatever it takes to get everything ready for tomorrow. Other staff are busy chalking the walk, setting up games, and creating signage.
This year has been especially challenging as we prepare to bring more than 35 years of tradition to a brand-new location. We've spent countless hours planning, preparing, problem-solving, and yes…a few unexpected surprises along the way.
But here’s what we want you to know.
When you arrive tomorrow and see the decorations, hear the Halloween music, watch your kids laughing, and enjoy all the Halloween fun, we hope you’ll know just how much heart went into making it happen.
It’s about the smiles on your kids’ faces. The memories families make together. And keeping a community tradition alive for generations to come.
