Meeker County 4-H is excited to celebrate National 4-H week, October 4-10! 4-H is the largest youth development organization in the U.S., empowering nearly six million young people with skills to go beyond the expected. Are you planning a trip and need a passport? The Meeker County Property Records Office can help you with that. The U.S. Department of State estimates the turnaround time for passports to be approximately 4-6 weeks, so please allow ample time when applying for a passport. If time is short, passport applications can be expedited for an additional $60 fee. Most importantly, PLEASE MAKE AN APPOINTMENT to get a passport or renew a passport by calling the Property Records Office at 320-693-5440. Click below for additional important information.

The Meeker Memorial Hospital Expansion Project held a groundbreaking ceremony today (Wednesday, September 30) at 2 p.m. The $55 million multi-story expansion will address outdated facilities, streamline space, expand services, and reduce redundancy. The project is expected to be completed in 2028.

There is currently a great opportunity to represent the Grove City area on the Economic Development Authority/Meeker County Development Commission. Term length is 6 years, and members serve on both boards. Meetings are currently held the second Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m. in Litchfield in the months of January, March, May, July, September and November. Duties include: representing your appointed community; bring input and information about your community’s happenings; share knowledge regarding local government, business, banking, rental or commercial properties; assist with studies, financials, and budgeting.
