A sweet moment from today’s visit to the Manheim Farm Show!

Landis Adult Day Services clients enjoyed getting up close with one of the Farm Show’s cutest residents — this adorable little piglet!

It was a fun fall outing filled with smiles, connection and plenty to see and enjoy.

Movement is part of the day at Landis Adult Day Services!

Regular physical activity can help older adults maintain mobility, strength, balance and flexibility, which can make everyday activities a little easier.

That’s why clients at Landis ADS have opportunities to keep moving in ways that are appropriate, enjoyable and encouraging. It’s not about a hard workout. It’s about staying active, building confidence and having some fun along the way!

A game of bingo AND ice cream? We’d call that a pretty good Tuesday!

Yesterday, Landis ADS clients enjoyed an afternoon of bingo followed by a tasty ice cream snack.

It’s the simple things that can make a day special. Sharing a laugh, enjoying a favorite treat and spending time together are all part of the social connection and meaningful engagement that happen every day at Landis Adult Day Services.

We’re kicking off National Adult Day Services Week with a little music!

Today, clients enjoyed a special one-man band performance, bringing plenty of familiar tunes, smiles and toe-tapping to the afternoon.

Music is an important part of life at Landis Adult Day Services. Beyond simply being fun, it can bring back fond memories, lift spirits and create moments of connection with others.

It’s a great way to start a week celebrating all that Adult Day Services can offer!

A sweet (and salty!) afternoon out! 🍦🥨

Landis Adult Day Services clients enjoyed a field trip to the Hayloft Ice Cream today, complete with ice cream, soft pretzels and plenty of good conversation. There’s nothing better than getting out together and enjoying a simple treat with friends!

A fun day out for Landis Adult Day Services!

Our group enjoyed a field trip to the New Holland Area Historical Society, where we took a guided tour and spent some time learning more about the history of the community. Afterward, we gathered for lunch provided by Lickity Split!

It was a wonderful opportunity to get out, explore together and enjoy a change of scen-ery. Thanks to the New Holland Historical Society and Lickety Split for helping make the day so enjoyable!

Memories, stories, and one very special ride! During a recent program about motorcycling, many Landis Adult Day Services clients enjoyed sharing memories of bikes they owned, rides they took, and adventures from years past. Then Landis Homes resident, Marlin Hershey made the experience even more memorable by bringing his Spyder for everyone to see up close!
