TOYS FOR TOTS

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office is partnering up with the United States Marine Corps Reserve with the Toys for Tots program. See photo below for items that are being accepted. Drop off at the sheriff's office Monday through Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm at the Morrison County Sheriff's Office lobby. All drop off donations stay local. Donations will be accepted through December 18th at 4:30 pm.

61 YEARS AGO- WE WILL NEVER FORGET

On October 15, 1965, Morrison County Sheriff John Stack and Chief Deputy Andrew Herlitz were ambushed and killed in the line of duty while responding to a farm equipment dispute in Morrison County.

Both men were dedicated to serving our county. Their sacrifice reminds us of the dangers law enforcement officers face every day.

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office will forever honor their service and sacrifice. They will never be forgotten, and their families will always be part of our law enforcement family and the thin blue line.
