Little Mountain Fire-Rescue

10/15/2026

This morning our volunteers spent time visiting Holy Trinity Preschool students, giving them a close‑up look at our equipment, gear, and what firefighters and first responders do. The kids learned some important fire‑safety basics and got to see that firefighters and medical responders are always here to help and not to be afraid of us! We appreciate the staff at Holy Trinity for reaching out to us!

Volunteers spent the night responding to trees down as well as a submerged vehicle. Rescue 180 and Engine 62 arrived to find one patient still inside the vehicle. Responders quickly donned life vest and attached a safety line and made contact with the patient and brought them to shore within three minutes of arrival. Thanks to our friends at Pomaria Fire Department & Rescue Squad for responding with us.

The sirens you are hearing are just a test! There is currently no weather event or fire. This is a test only!
