On the evening of May 20, 2026, officers made contact with two residents on State Highway 95. During that contact officers developed reasonable suspicion of illegal activity and detained a subject. Contact was eventually made to another subject in the home and that subject provided documents that led to citations being issued for the illegal activity.

Upon review by the Bell County Attorneys Office, the obtained document was not valid, and the issued citations were dismissed . Subsequently charges were filed with the Bell County Attorneys office and warrants were issued for the arrest of the two residents. Any inquiries about this case will have to be made through the Bell County Attorneys Office.
