Join Vera Lloyd for TBRI® Caregiver Training Module 8.1: Correcting Principles – Responsive Strategies Part 1.

We’ll explore practical ways caregivers can respond to challenging behaviors while maintaining connection, supporting regulation, and helping children feel safe and understood. Participants will learn how to respond intentionally and appropriately based on a child’s needs, history, and level of felt-safety.

October RPT Schedule

Vera Lloyd’s monthly Resource Parent Training (RPT) sessions continue in October with TBRI® Caregiver Training Module 8: Correcting Principles – Responsive Strategies.

These sessions will explore practical ways caregivers can respond when challenging behaviors occur while maintaining connection, supporting regulation, and avoiding shame or unnecessary power struggles.

Participants will learn how to set realistic expectations based on a child’s history, needs, and level of felt-safety, as well as how to use the IDEAL Response and Levels of Response. Caregivers will also explore rupture and repair and how repairing difficult moments can strengthen trust and help children know they remain valued and loved.

On Sunday Vera Lloyd had the opportunity to visit First Presbyterian Church of Rogers, AR. They held a drive to raise funds for basketball shoes for our youth, and First United Presbyterian Church of Fayetteville was kind enough to match their gift. Thanks to the generous contributions from our friends at these churches, we'll be able to purchase basketball shoes for 30 youth in our care! We also had another delicious meal catered by Beach BBQ. Thank you to everybody who helped make this happen!
