Today, Captain Johnathan Lanes, ADC Recruiter Sgt Darren Rawls, and Cpl Jada Barfield had the privilege of speaking with the cadets of the Protective Service Security Trade program at Little Rock Job Corps. They shared insight into the Arkansas Department of Correction, the mission we serve, and the many career pathways available within the corrections profession.

Our staff had the opportunity to discuss leadership, professionalism, accountability, and the impact correctional officers make every day in keeping our communities safe. Investing in future protective service professionals is an important part of strengthening our workforce and building a safer Arkansas.

We appreciate the invitation from Deputy Director DeAngelo Earl and Instructor Jermeriaus Manns and look forward to continued partnership as we support the next generation of public safety leaders.
