October 5 is the last day to register to vote in the November election.

Registering to vote in Arkansas is simple. Residents must complete a paper voter registration form, which is available from county clerks, public libraries, DMV and revenue offices, disability agencies, and military recruitment centers. Forms can also be printed online or requested by mail from the Arkansas Secretary of State. Once the county clerk processes the application, the voter receives a registration card, which may take a few weeks. Voters can confirm their registration status at any time by visiting voterview.ar-nova.org or by contacting their county clerk.

To register to vote in Arkansas, you must meet several requirements: you must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of Arkansas, and at least 18 years old on or before Election Day. You cannot be currently serving a felony sentence that has not been discharged or pardoned, and you must not be legally declared mentally incompetent to vote by a court.

Remember, October 5 is the last day to register to vote in the November election! Early voting begins October 19, and November 3 is Election Day.
