RPA statement on Democrat Hallie Shoffner lying about hiring illegal immigrants.
On September 27, Democrat Hallie Shoffner was asked by the Arkansas Democrat Gazette if she hired illegal immigrants. She told the reporter no, that she “only hired immigrants through the federal H-2A Temporary Agricultural Workers Program.”
Now, a former senior employee who worked for Democrat Hallie Shoffner said this was a lie, and that Hallie Shoffner knowingly hired three illegal immigrants, one in a full-time role, two in part-time roles, and used the immigrants’ children’s names on the W2 forms. The employee provides extensive details and specific information.
Of note, Shoffner does not deny the allegations in the story, but instead said she is “consulting with counsel.”
It’s clear that Democrat Hallie Shoffner lied about her record of hiring illegal immigrants.
If Hallie Shoffner will lie about this, what else will she lie about?
She needs to come clean now and answer three simple questions:
1. Why did you knowingly hire illegal immigrants?
2. How much money did you pay the illegal immigrants you hired compared to the Arkansas workers?
3. Why did you lie to the Democrat Gazette on September 27 and claim you never hired any illegal immigrants?
